Gearing down for the 365 run

So as tomorrow approaches I am filled with anticipation and anxiety about this new goal of finishing 365 projects and blogging about them. I have started to gather some project tutorials so I can put my own spin on the designs but have some idea's to start with. One of my favorite web sites is www.splitcoaststampers.com where I have attained so many of the idea's I share with others. If you haven't been to this web site you should check it out and make sure to look at the gallery.

I am a person who loves to be around people and therefore have classes at my home where I teach others to be creative. This month has been an exciting one for me because we are doing a mom/kids day class where the kids get to come and make some awesome crafts and feel included in the projects they see their mom's take home every month. Since Stampin Up has joined forces with Build-A-Bear and come out with some AWESOME things to go along with the Build-A-Bear things we will be doing our classes this month on these dye cuts and stamps. So this month, probably in the next week you will see a few of the projects that I do may include the Build-A-Bear dyes so that I can have them ready for my classes.

What an Adventure this is going to be! Stay tuned for tomorrows first post of a project.

A New Goal

Have you seen the movie Juile and Julia? I saw it last night and in the movie she blogs about a goal she made to cook all of Julia Child's recipes in her cook book in 365 days. Wow, what an inspirational movie. I came away from this movie feeling like I needed to have a goal and get back to blogging. So .... Get ready!

I have decided to start blogging every single day of the year for 365 days. Not only that but I have a goal in mind. For me cooking is fun but it's not near as fun as scrap-booking or stamping. So my goal for the next 365 days starting on September 1st is going to be to create a project, card or scrapbook page every single day and blog about what I have made. This way not only will you receive new idea's but I will have accomplished so many projects that I will have a full inventory of gifts for others.

Stamping to me is one of the most calming activities because I know that if I mess up I can try again with out a big mess, without feeling like a failure and without a lot of guilt. So Here I go to attempt something that I'm not sure has ever been done before but a worthy goal. I hope my husband will understand as I know it will take time and a great commitment. Wish me luck!
